Elon Musk Again Tweeting On Bitcoin; Twitter Users Enjoying, Investors Nervous

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has decided to deal with Bitcoin and its supporters – again. His previous interest in getting the creators of the world’s largest cryptocurrency to make it more energy efficient ended with their profits being washed out and drew massive criticism from Bitcoin investors. On Friday, Mr. Musk directed his joke at Bitcoin “maxis” or maximalists who support crypto over all other digital currencies, such as Dogecoin, a favorite of the Tesla CEO. He reiterated the widespread energy consumption concerns involved in trading and mining Bitcoin.

“How many Bitcoin maxis does it take to screw in a lightbulb?” Asked Mr. Musk. And shortly afterwards he replied: “It’s not funny! – Bitcoin Maxis. “

“That’s not funny!” – Bitcoin maxis

The “Bitcoin maxis” tweet caught the attention of MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor, one of the most vocal advocates of Bitcoin.

If you give us 10 minutes, maybe we can cut out the answer …

Peter McCormack, the host of one of the most famous cryptocurrency podcasts in the world, also responded to Mr Musk, but he was more direct about bringing him down. In a second tweet, Mr. McCormack posted a link to the address by President of El Salvador Nayib Bukele to the nation. The Central American country announced that Bitcoin will become legal tender in the country on September 7th this year.

How many disgusting bitcoiners does it take to stop being an ass?

The SpaceX CEO and podcast host have had disagreements about Bitcoin in the past.

Objectionable threads like these make me want to bet Doge

But there were many who supported Mr. Musk. One user responded to Mr. Musk’s question and tweeted an excavation wrapped up in a metaphor. The user said two bitcoin maxis could screw in a lightbulb. “Etgy,” said Mr. Musk.

Second, one to screw in the lightbulb and one to stare in horror at Roko’s blockchain as it devours the earth and everyone in its path.

Others just had fun watching Mr. Musk return to tweet on Bitcoin.

All eyes are now waiting to see the impact of Mr Musk’s tweets on the crypto market as it seeks to recover from the two most recent crashes – one in May (partly due to the tech tycoon’s tweets) and the other last Week due to the growing Chinese crackdown on cryptocurrencies.
