Ebay mulls letting users pay in Bitcoin

Cryptocurrency is one of the new payment options that EBay is exploring for customers, said CEO Jamie Lannone.

NFTs can be issued by anyone, but they are scarce as each token is unique and shows ownership of a particular asset – virtual or tangible.

Bitcoin is the world’s most popular cryptocurrency and a Bitcoin is currently worth almost $ 58,000.

If EBay implements the plans, it will be one of the first companies in the world to offer cryptocurrency as a means of payment and, together with Tesla and WeWork, accept cryptocurrency in exchange for goods or services.
