The thriving segment of cryptocurrency has created more than 10,000 active jobs in India, the specialist human resources company Xpheno reported.
Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bengaluru are the hottest hubs for the positions, which together make up 60% of all job vacancies.
To be preferred for the positions, candidates must have knowledge of blockchain, machine learning, security technology, RippleX development, and front- and back-end development.
RippleX is a payment platform used worldwide to send and receive payments through any currency or network.
Several crypto exchanges are doing well in India, with millions investing in cryptocurrencies through them. Along with the cryptocurrency job market, investing in digital assets has caught the attention of big names like Apple and Amazon.
India’s first crypto unicorn, CoinDCX, is looking to hire people who can potentially bolster the product, security and platforms. Human Resources Manager Mudita Chauhan said they are focusing on skills like cybersecurity, blockchain, Node.js, AWS, Jawa, PHP, data structures and Python.
Average salary packages with niche and specialty skills are witnessing “nice strikes” amid the heated battle for talent, said Prasadh MS, technology specialist at Xpheno. Turnover is highest in areas such as financial services companies, banks, digital wallet and payment gateway companies, traditional software service companies, and MNC captive hubs.
