July 20 – Arsenal have become the second Premier League club to sign up with blockchain provider Chiliz to offer crypto fan tokens on the Socios.com app.
Manchester City were the first Premier League club to announce they would launch a fan token on the Chiliz platform in March, but their offering has yet to be launched. No information was given on the start date of the $ AFC fan token or how many tokens will be issued at what price.
$ AFC fan tokens give holders the ability to influence the club in a series of interactive polls on a variety of decisions each season, as well as access to club-related content and participation in club-related games, competitions and quizzes in global leaderboards ( so-called gamification of apps and rewards, which are now a foundation of engagement-driven marketing).
The fan tokens will be fully tradable on a variety of major cryptocurrency exchanges, including Coinbase and Binance.

Socios.com made a number of important announcements over the past week, including the acquisition of the shirt sponsorship of LaLiga Valencia to promote the $ VCF fan token, as well as title sponsorship of the Argentine Primera Division, which will be renamed the Torneo Socios .com for the 2021/22 season.
