Ajman DED signs pact with ICO for charitable work – News

The aim of this agreement is to strengthen joint cooperation in order to improve charitable and humanitarian work.

The Department of Economic Development in Ajman ‘Ajman DED’ has signed an agreement with the International Charity Organization ‘ICO’ in Ajman on the start of charitable and humanitarian work.

Al-Hamrani said: “As part of its strategic vision to achieve comprehensive and sustainable economic development, Ajman DED is paying more attention to its social role in achieving prosperity and happiness for the community of the emirate. Ajman DED seeks a strategic partnership with the ICO, founded in 1984, one of the most important and oldest charitable and humanitarian organizations in the emirate. Both parties agreed to activate the societal role and to implement areas of cooperation according to their effects at the local and global level in order to improve the conditions of the needy, achieve comprehensive development and create a healthy environment for a decent life ”.

Dr. Al-Khaja said: “As part of its broad, far-reaching vision of serving the largest part of the population, the ICO seeks to implement local and global initiatives and projects to consolidate the vision of the UAE in general and the emirate in particular of Ajman. In this context, the ICO was interested in signing a cooperation agreement with Ajman DED, which is one of the important local governments of the emirate with the vision of comprehensive and sustainable economic development. It was agreed to implement many areas of cooperation to serve humanitarian, charitable and voluntary activities, and to ensure the well-being of the community and a decent life for those in need.
